Design Concept for Remote Team Engagement
Opportunity: Remote and hybrid teams may have a tough time connecting on a personal level with one another due to their work environment. Teams may not feel connected to their peers and experience a sense of loneliness and desire for more personal interaction.
Solution: Developed an innovative design solution called "CommonGround" promoting personal connections and engagement, involving user interviews, ideation, concept tasks, scenarios, wireframes, usability tests, and refinements.
Outcome: The innovative application concept successfully addressed the challenges faced by remote and hybrid teams in building personal connections and engagement. During user testing, participants noted that they would use the concept to help them form stronger bonds, demonstrating the effectiveness of the design solution.

Kohl's Digital Style Guide
Opportunity: As a UI designer, I identified an opportunity to establish digital brand guidelines for the marketing and product teams at Kohl's. The goal was to create a more unified and consistent brand across all digital channels, including the website and mobile app.
Solution: To address the opportunity, I created a Kohl's Digital Style Guide. The solution included a UI kit and CSS code that could be used by the marketing and product teams to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints. The Digital Style Guide provided guidelines for typography, color schemes, iconography, form fields, and other key design elements.
Outcome: The Digital Style Guide was successfully implemented, providing marketing and product teams with a unified and consistent set of guidelines for all digital products and services. The UI kit and CSS code helped create efficiencies and consistency across all digital channels, improving the user experience and enhancing the brand's identity.

Product Team: Search & Browse

Opportunity: As part of the Search and Browse program at Kohl's Corporate, there was a need to improve the user experience for customers browsing and searching for products on the website.
Solution: To address the opportunity, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop new e-commerce templates, establish specifications, design screens, and create UI kits. I worked closely with the CX research team to ensure user-friendliness by conducting customer tests. Projects included redesigning the product assortment page template and site search suggestion drop-down.
Outcome: The redesigned e-commerce templates, screens, and UI kits improved the user experience for customers browsing and searching for products on Kohl's website.
