Brand Creative Leader
I have overseen various design and content teams, concentrating on UI design, branding, storytelling, and marketing efforts. In my current position as Senior Manager, Digital Design at Kohl's Corporate, I guide and assist a team comprising three design leaders and 23 art directors and designers, who are responsible for content and promotional creation in areas such as email, homepage, digital experiences, supplementary graphics, banner advertisements, vendor marketing, and personalized content.

My Leadership Style
The key principles that define my leadership philosophy encompass servant, mentoring, and collaborative styles, with a strong focus on empathy and empowerment.
Servant
I believe that individuals perform optimally when they feel valued and appreciated. Demonstrating a servant leadership approach, I prioritize personal care, motivation, transparent communication, and fostering teamwork and engagement. By practicing empathy, I strive to understand my team members' perspectives and needs, which helps me support them more effectively.
Mentoring
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement benefits both individuals and the work they produce. Although each person is responsible for their own growth, my role as a leader is to offer support, guidance, and opportunities. Leading by example is crucial; therefore, I openly discuss my areas for improvement and welcome feedback from my team. I empower them by encouraging them to take ownership of their development and by providing resources and support.
Collaborative
Soliciting input from team members ensures they feel heard and that their contributions are significant. It is my duty as a leader to cultivate an environment that facilitates open dialogue, enabling productive discussions and the development of effective solutions. Empathy plays a vital role in creating a safe space for open communication, while empowerment encourages team members to participate in decision-making processes actively and to share their ideas confidently.
